After you've been admitted to 韦德买球网站, the next step is to determine if you are ready to take college-level Math or college-level English courses. Many students do this by taking our course assessment, but there are other ways to prove college readiness.

It's important to put your best foot forward 和 prepare for your course assessment! This assessment will determine which course you should start in so you can be the most successful. If it is determined that you will be most successful in courses that are designed to enhance students' readiness in English 和 Math courses.

PREPARING FOR THE Course 评估
The assessment is computerized 和 is untimed except for one section.

- 20 multiple choice questions
- To study, create an account for the ACCUPLACER study app 点击这里 (Make sure to select the ACCUPLACER Reading option)

- You will be given 60 minutes to write a paragraph response to a prompt
- The essay is not based on factual knowledge, but rather your ability to write a composed 和 organized essay

For math placement, you will take up to three of these four tests:

数学SELF-PLACEMENT
有一个 optional math self-placement assessment for students who are looking to place into math classes up to Statistics (MTH 142). You can only take this self-placement option once, 和 your first attempt will be used for placement. 一旦完成, you will receive your recommended math placement 和 you can contact the 建议 Center to go over your scores.
*Please note that this self-placement is not for students who wish to place into College Algebra or higher.
